Beyond GT5

Hypothetical:

KY has been granted a huge budget increase, and his studio's are expanded. He know has close to 200 employees, with the ability to form them into two separate teams capable of working on multiple different projects. (In addition, two small Polyphony Digital studios are set up in Europe and America to monitor and tailor the games to each markets needs.) One team is set under himself, the other is under you (although you're still working under him.) He's decided to entrust you with the GT series while he works on another game genre/GTPSP2/Tourist Trophy/Expansion into PS4 and readying "GT7"

Your goal is this: Create another PS3 GT-franchise game, and erase the bad memories of the wait between GT4 and GT5. You also have free roam to explore new features though GT6's goal is the same as 2 and 4's.. that being expanding on the first game. Lets say you have the cream of the crop when it comes to game designers, and with most of the R&D for PS3 already completed, you're able to churn out small-ish games fairly quickly.

Notes:
-This game is an expansion of GT5, most of the revolutionary changes will be applied to GT7.
-Keep in mind anything drastically new added should be reflected in your release date.

My plan:

Release two themed "A-spec" games. Each having 150-200 cars.

The first featuring Vintage racing cars circa 1970 and under. Provide an even mix from across the globe from American Trans-Am to vintage Bently's and Bugatti's. Tracks would include Indianapolis, Monaco, Laguna Seca, Le Mans, Nurburgring (Grand Prix), and one original GT track redone with a classic feel (to cut down on development times and due to lack of source material, all real tracks would be the modern versions.)

The next game would feature mostly on Concept Cars (An extended version of GT Concept but with a few more tracks and cars). Tracks would include mostly GT-Original tracks. Preferably city and night-courses, with the full version of Nurburgring and the Top Gear test track providing more racing feel.

Both A-spec games could each introduce new minor details and features, but all tracks and the majority of all cars would be included in "GT6" thus the development of each game wouldn't go to waste.

Next up would undoubtedly be GT6 Prologue. Much following in the footsteps of the other prologues, the game would feature only the newest or extremely popular recent production vehicles. Concept cars would no longer be present as they have their own game. Select "tuners" would be included, and I would try to include as many of the past and present SEMA GT Award winners as possible, even if they've been in GT games before.

Then we get to GT6... a game that's been in development over the past 3 years. No radical new features are included. The biggest addition is more cars and more tracks with a limited return of Racing modification. However, the game has been split into three different versions, each focusing on a specific region or collection of regions.

GT Pacifica: Primary focus on Japanese and Australian marks. Notable American and European cars still make appearances throughout. Think of how Gran Turismo is now and you've got it.

GT Americana: Focuses on cars from North and South America. Notable Japanese and European cars are included and tracks span the globe (Ex: NASCAR's can still race at Suzuka).

GT Europa: Focuses on cars from Europe (might even go so far as to include the CitiGolf R from South Africa.) Again, notable American and Japanese cars make appearances. Really needs Porsche though.

All three games can be purchased individually, or all together and the garages from all three are unified in the Online/Arcade Mode. That's right, if you only buy GT Europa, you can take your TechArt Porsche and race against a Roush Mustang or Spoon S2000 (Tuners being the biggest varying factor between each version).

To clarify. You buy GT Americana, each American dealer is going to look roughly like Nissan and Subaru do now in any GT game. When you go to Nissan, the cars are going to be slightly more limited, or feature US Domestic vehicles.

Nissan in GT Americana:
B13 Sentra SE-R
B14 200SX SE-R
B15 Sentra SE-R Spec V '03
B15 Sentra SE-R Spec V '06

L31 Alitma SE-R
L32 Altima SE Sedan
L32 Altima SE Coupe
A35 Maxima SV
S13 Sileighty
S13 180SX (The 2.4 motor isn't really worth it)
S14 Silvia pre-facelift (Again the 2.4 motor really isn't worth it)
S15 Silvia Spec-R Aero (The first true JDM car that is here due to popularity)
R32 Skyline GT-R Vspec II
R33 Skyline GT-R
R34 Skyline GT-R Vspec
R35 GT-R
R35 GT-R Vspec

Z34 370Z
Z34 NISMO 370Z

Okay... still fairly lengthy. But the majority of the cars on there are Domestic Nissans.
